Tips on Writing Stories for Children
I found the section about story structure quite helpful and interesting. It says how you should write your story, and gives tips to make your story as interesting as possible. The information given about characters and theme is similar to what I wrote when I analysed the children stories. It is similar in that it says the theme should be positive and the readers should be able to identify with the characters. In "Writing Good Dialogue" they gave tips on what the dialogue in a story should be about and how to make it progress the story, which I found quite helpful. I think how the dialogue is written should be part of the rubric because I think good dialogue is important.
